On Friday, the Iconic Eggress stadium will be filled as the Van Wert Cougars, the third seed in region 14 get to set host 11th seeded the Wauseon Indians.
Van Wert is accustomed to playing a team from the NWOAL as their week one rivals from Bryan come from the conference to the north.
Van Wert will bring a high powered offense on Friday night that comes in averaging 45 points a game and allows 17 points a game. Aiden Pratt has been engineering the offense accounting for 45 Touchdowns while just turning the ball over 3 times this season.
Van Wert’s defense will be challenged by the Wauseon Offense that comes in confident as can be. Sophomore Quarterback Elijah McLeod has played well throwing for 2,578 yards while throwing 27 touchdowns and 11INTS.
