Mangas to take over Vikings
LEIPSIC- Devin Mangas will begin his first season as the head coach of the Leipsic Vikings.
The Vikings will look to replace Mason Brandt as the Findlay Oiler was the NWC Player of the Year and a first team NWC selection for the Vikings.
“We want to give ourselves a chance to win every game with our length and athleticism on defense,” said Mangas.
It will be a young Leipsic team this season as just five lettermen return for the Vikings. Paul Maag, Caden Ellerbrock, Trent Siefker, among others, are expected to carry the load to give the Vikings a chance this winter.
“We are looking to battle for a top three finish,” said Mangas.
The Vikings will start NWC play on December 9th when they visit Lincolnview.
