WAYNESFIELD -GOSHEN-It was a sectional semifinal rematch at Waynesfield- Goshen high school on Tuesday night when the Tigers hosted the Bearcats. Spencerville was able to get the best of them in straight sets to pick up the victory to begin sectional play.

Spencerville came out and running in the opening set with some good attack as they were able to fight off Waynesfield – Goshen 25-20.

“Kait Keller and Lorelai Layman were getting the assists to our front row so our big hitters could get kills,” said Layman. “Briley Cook, Analese Hannah, Kelsey Lee, and Kendall Kill all read the court and put the ball where it needed to go tonight.”

The Bearcats seized control of the match in the second set as they controlled it from start to finish to go up two sets to none.
